White on White card :)

This time its a monochromatic card…and its a WOW card again..Earlier cards you can see here and here.
This card is a combination of dies, border punch and embossing.
Diwali sweets and savories preparation is well started yesterday at my home and just squeezed my time to do this card as a bit relief from my hand ache…Ya crafting is a therapy too 🙂

Thinking of my Sweet granny at this moment as she used to do so many varieties of sweets and savories for Diwali and she used to start 4-5 days before Diwali and inbetween there will be lot of neighbour friends asking for recipes, trial versions of those recipes will be going on at my home…She never complained of handache at all…She was an expert cook 🙂 Really miss u dear ma…

Coming to my card

White CS is embossed using spots embossing folder and on it used a negative of 2nd large Timeless rectangle Spellbinder die as frame. To it added the tessatina border as trellis. White doily is added and mounted this on top of the base white CS whose one end is punched using MS double arches.

A white satin ribbon is pleated and a bow is added on the middle of pleats and its hanging over the edge with the punched border. Frame Venetian panel taken whose edges are embossed using Zing clear EP using heat gun and on to it added the sentiment.

Tropical flourish, mum bloom and few small flowers are added with a butterfly at a corner. Rhinestone, few pearls are as final touch.

Hope you like it.

Bokeh Background Technique

CAS card again for all the hearts who left me wonderful birthday wishes yesterday irrespective of different time zones… was really in gleeful state 🙂 Thanks once again friends !!

Bok-eh, a term known in Photography but so new to me in stamping 🙂 Yesterday learnt from here and wanted to give it a shot. Used the technique alone as, i lack few supplies mentioned there.

Diecut the heart from Itsy bitsy heart die and stamped on it using Ranger Archival ink. Applied glossy accents to the whole heart to get the glossiness…Just loving it 🙂  On a white cardstock, i just drew freehand heart in Spun sugar DI using koi waterbrush and created the Bokeh bg by simply stamping and stamping off with Spun sugar. Added the Stamped, glossy heart on the hand drawn heart with dimensionals. Though my glossy heart is with air bubbles and few fingerprints…am loving the way the lacy stamped heart pops 🙂

Sentiment is added on a diecut which is embossed on its edges with Black EP using Heat gun for that extra glam. Followed a tute from here. Few pink pearls are for final touch 🙂

Hope you like it too 🙂

Supplies:

White CS – Sudha
Sentiment – Trendy circles – Inspired by stamping
Pearls – Stash
Black Ranger Archival ink, Spun sugar DI, Clear art stamps – Laces and borders –  Joann Stores
Black EP- Kavitha
Heat gun, glossy accents – Crafters corner

Challenges Entered:

Sindhu – Celebration Challenge 2 (used B – Baby pink, Black, Bokeh effect, Bling)
WHW#121 – Embossed edges
Inspired by stamping – Customer gallery (sentiment stamp  from trendy circles)
Creative craft challenges – Anything goes

Pink Posies :)

Wanted to share a card today, after my memorable trip to Nepal…Really mesmerizing scenic beauties with awesome weather made me to rewind my trips to Jeju, South Korea…Dussehra is a grand festival in Nepal and happened to celebrate there this year.

Used my new spellbinders Timeless rectangle die..Just loved those swirly corners..  and tried triple loop bow too. The card base is a white cardstock on it is the digi floral pp and top of it is the largest die of the Timeless rectangle die from a white cardstock, which is matted with another digi floral pp. And above that is second largest die is cut again from white cardstock  and on it, is the smallest die in baby pink cardstock.

Sentiment is handwritten using Rangers white embossing pen and heat embossed it with White Zing Ep. Below added a triple loop bow in baby pink ribbon and on it added few roses, mulberry flower and punched leaves, few leaves are distressed with crushed olive distress ink.

Sequins, few pearls are added as final touch.

White cardstock, baby pink roses, white pearls – Nupur priya
Timeless rectangle Spellbinders die, White Zing EP,Heat gun, Crushed olive Distress ink – Crafters corner

A quick card to share to with you…..A Wedding Anniversary card..Wanted to do a bit different from my regular style and also this time no distressing or stamping.
