Spread your wings!!

Hi Friends,

Made this card for Mudra as part of my DT projects.

  • On to a watercolor cardstock, Gold Heat embossed Butterfly from Beautiful Butterflies as focal element.
  • Sprinkled Brushos of 3 colors (Light brown, Cobalt blue, Emerald green) and sprinkled water using mini mister, around the butterfly.
  • I intended for tricolors but it left me with Rainbow colors!!
  • Heat set the pattern as and when at intervals.
  • Then colored the butterfly using Zig clean color brush pens.
  • Sentiment from Humming birds is stamped just below the butterfly.
  • Mounted this panel onto a black A2 sized card base to finish off the card.

Floral card!

Hi Friends!

“Flowers feed the soul” How True!!

Today’s post is also a floral card…Oh yeah ..Smitten with Floral stamps these days..Enjoyed watercoloring and recently started with Alcohol markers: Chameleon markers. There is lot to learn and to improve and i absolutely love my experiments with it…

These peonies stamps are new in my stash, from Stampendous – Bouquet for you. Stamped onto drawing sheet using Momento black ink and colored using Chameleon marker: Crimson red. Highlights done by Fabercastell polychromes. Then its fussy cut and mounted onto a ivory A2 sized card base which is stenciled on bg with hickory smoke distress ink diagonally.

Sentiment is from IBS- Tulip Bouquet set.

Hope you like my amateur attempt at alcohol marker coloring.

Hi Craftypals,

Altered Box

Hi Friends!

Today’s post is about an Altered Box, originally a Mobile package box which i was religiously hoarding for more than 4 years now. It’s a cute white 6″ box. Made this project a week back and gifted to my Dear friend for her birthday. She was thrilled to see this!!

Now will see the process of the project!

  • Took the box with lid, and white gessoed it totally.
  • Stenciled the base with Prima grid stencil with Prima light paste.
  • Sprinkled LSG sweet treats magicals on the stenciled portion and spritzed water to see the magicals burst colors.
  • Then its layered in Cheesecloth on all four inner sides and on the base centrally.
  • Doily, paper straws, Roses, resins and and other embellishments are added with few random partial stampings around the image.
  • Mini and macro art stones are added for little extra textures.
  • Timholtz chitchat stickers are added to kraft cs and added near the image.
  • A pink adhesive ribbon is added to the outside portion of the lid.
  • And on top of the lid, Prima Princess pp is added.
  • This finishes off my Project.
Some angled and close up shots for you!

Hope you like it!
Happy Crafting!

Watercolored Roses

Hiya Friends!

How you all doing!

Days are lovely here as we enjoy super foggy mornings and chill weather at UAE.

2 months back i won Altenew FB giveaway and bought Bold and Blossom set, which reached my home few days back.

Yay!!! You got me right!

Watercolored those Roses using noline coloring technique, which am still in learning the nuances of it.

Have chosen colors from the January altenew Challenge

Am so in love with the colors here in the graphic.

  • To create my card, took a watercolor cardstock, stamped outline Roses and Leaves, from Bold and Blossom set using Masking technique with a 3rd generation stamping using Archival ink.
  • Colored using noline coloring technique with Zigclean color brush pens.
  • Then fussy cut and kept ready to mount on a stenciled base card.
  • Prima min art stones are sprinkled generously and to add bit more texture added a honeycomb chipboard and a cheesecloth, to which fussy cut florals are added.
  • Left it as Sentiment-less card for now 🙂

Hope you like this card 🙂
Thanks for stopping by and soon to catch up with next project 🙂
