The Flower Challenge#90 | Add Layers | Reminder | Altenew

Hi Friends.

Am here back again to share a floral card for The Flower Challenge blog with the theme ‘Add Layers’

So this time, you have to add layers and the main focus needs to be florals as always.

Over to my card,

  • Took a 4X5.25″ card panel from Altenew’s poured acrylic pp pack.
  • Dry embossed it with Altenew Motif Tile 3D embossing folder.
  • The dry embossing shows the white core of the pattern paper at many places, which actually adds up to the elegance of the card here.
  • Then I diecut few floral sprigs and leaves from Altenew Itty Bitty Branches die set using from same pp pack.
  • These are arranged over a rectangular frame, which was die cut from Altenew’s rounded rectangles die set.
  • Altenew Fancy Hello Die set word die from white cardstocks are added above as in pic.
  • Then finally all mounted onto an off white A2 sized top fold card base.

Hope you like this simple card.

The Flower Challenge#88 | Add a Heart

Hi Crafty Peeps!

“Being deeply loved by someone gives you Strength, While loving someone deeply gives you Courage.” – Lao Tzu

Am sharing today my first card for the TFC blog and this month’s challenge is ‘Add a Heart’. Of course you need to add the flowers as focus plus add cute little hearts 🙂

Just like today’s card, on certain days the card making process is done in a jiffy. The elements fell in place with no much efforts and a card could be whipped in no time. Used these floral ephemeras and a beautiful sentiment diecut which was lying for ages in my stash.

  • Took a patterned paper matching my A2 sized top fold Avacado Cardbase.
  • The patterned paper was diecut using Gina Marie scalloped die.
  • Then its added to the cardbase using adhesive tape.
  • On the focal panel, the floral ephemeras and sentiment diecut is added.
  • Heart diecut and few enamel dots were added as accents.

Hope you like it!

The Flower Challenge #87 |Use Gold | Reminder | Stampendous

It’s time for the reminder card at The Flower Challenge blog with the theme ‘Use Gold’. Made a card with floral noline copic coloring with few diecuts to jazz up the card. And for the gold part, I had used gold mirror cardstock and you can use gold embossing powder, gold glitter pen, gold stickles or anything that fancies you with florals as main focus.

Over to my card,

  • For today’s card, I had taken Stampendous Cling Christmas roses stamp set.
  • Did No line coloring using Copic ciao alcohol markers.
  • Fussy cut the image and liberally splashed it with white gouache for the wintery floral look.
  • Die cut Spellbinders Petite twisted oval from a patterned paper and onto it mounted an ornate diecut of Spellbinders using Gold mirror cardstock + White cardstock.
  • The focal panel and the florals are arranged as shown in pic over the Olive green A2 sized top fold cardbase which was notched at top corners.
  • SSS Holiday words on line – Joyful wishes Die (twice cut from white cardstock) is added on top of flowers for sentiment.
  • No embellishments added so as to keep the focus on the florals.

Hope you like it!

The Flower Challenge#87 |Spellbinders | Use Gold

Hi Crafty peeps,

Am sharing today the card made for the current challenge at The Flower Challenge. This time theme is ‘Use Gold’ and as always florals are to be in focus. You can use Gold heat embossing, Gold diecuts, Gold glitter cardstocks, Gold glitter washitapes or even Gold mirror cardstock just like me for diecuts.

Over to my card,

  • This time thought to play with just diecuts. Actually a recreation of my earlier card with a bit of new additions. December is such a merry season and I would love to play with my christmas stamps, dies, white sparkly embossing powders only during that time of the year.
  • Made this lovely holiday card using dies from Spellbinders-Amazing paper grace Petite Lacy dies and Twisted Oval Elegant dies.
  • Florals aren’t colored this time rather added Fussy cut white florals from Embellishment sheets. This season called for some white florals.
  • Sentiment is added to the inner oval diecut.
  • Few pearls, enamel dots are added as accents.

Hope you like it!
