The Flower Challenge#79 | Focus on Background Stamping | Reminder | Altenew

Hi Friends,

It’s time for the reminder post for the ongoing challenge at The Flower Challenge blog. The focus is on background stamping. So what are you waiting for? Take out all those teeny tiny small stamps and make a patterned paper look on the background of your card. Yeah that’s what exactly I did today.

Over to my card,

  • Took a sheet from White Neenah solar crest cardstock.
  • Stamped small floral bunches from Altenew Beautiful Day stamp set in an aesthetic way all over the sheet.
  • Colored these tiny stamps using Copic Ciao markers.
  • Matted over a lavender slimline card base using liquid adhesive .
  • Stamped sentiment from Altenew Sentiment stamp 2 using Altenew cube ink.
  • Die cut using Featured sentiments Die set and mounted as shown using foam squares.
  • Added few yellow enamel dots as accents.

Hope you like it!

 Hi Friends,

Am here today with a floral card using Simon says stamp’s June 2018 Kit: Beautiful flowers. I just purchased this Kit for these beautiful floral spray and florals, along with pretty big fonts of lovely sentiments.

Over to my card,

  • Stamped the floral spray onto Strathmore Toned Tan Sketch paper using DI- Antique Linen as it is the lightest tone I use for Noline coloring.
  • I colored the florals with Copics Ciao – My ever first coloring using those markers!!!
  • (DH bought Copics Ciao 75 markers set (Taiwan Only) during his visit to India this time.
  • Given shadows and highlights using Prisma colored pencils.
  • Die cut using MFT Stitched rectangle die.
  • Stamped sentiment from the same stamp set.
  • Mounted the focal panel onto a Olive green A2 sized card base using foam adhesives.
Hope you like this simple card.
I appreciate you stopping by!
