Over to my cards,

I made 2 simple cards using the digis in CAS style in a minimalistic way.
Card 1

  • Printed the sentiment peace all over the focal panel and diecut it with a stitched rectangle die.
  • The folk art digi is printed onto a white cardstock and diecut it using a stitched circle digi.
  • The 2 diecut strips are cut from blue and yellow cardstocks and matted over the focal panel as shown.
  • Circle diecut is then topped over the focal panel.
  • Then panel is matted over the Blue A2 sized top fold cardbase.

Card 2

  • Printed the folk art digi onto a white cs and colored using Fabercastell polychromos pencils.
  • Diecut it using a stitched rectangle.
  • Using Alpha dies, diecut the word MIR from peace bg panel.
  • Took a A2 sized yellow top fold cardbase, Matted the focal panel using foam adhesive to one side of the cardbase.
  • The alpha diets MIR are added as shown for interest.
Hope you like my take on this Digital stamp.

Spring Floral card : Janesdoodles Digitals

Hi All,

My dear Mom’s birthday today and made a floral card for my Plant Nerd Mumma πŸ™‚

She absolutely love plants and religiously maintains a huge garden at my hometown. This blog is the sample of her creative streaks which she transferred. Such a fabulous oil painting artist she is and all my childhood days were spent watching her create layers and layers of those artistic paintings.

Way back in 2011, this day, I made a handmade Quilled birthday card to Mom and from that there wasn’t no looking back…The moments were in search of “Me time” when little one was just 2 yrs old and I ended up to this wonderland of Art and Handmade rightly!! Kind of soul-seeking!

Over to the card for today!

  • Printed Janesdoodles digital image onto a Strathmore toned gray sketch paper.
  • Colored using Prisma colored pencils.
  • Fussy cut the florals and set aside.
  • Took a white A2 sized top fold card base.
  • Stenciled with Altenew limestone ink using Altenew’s Classy stripes stencil.
  • Generously splashed watered white paint over fussy cut florals and set aside for air drying.
  • Stamped SSS sentiment using Mudra Mai black ink.
  • Mounted the floral bunch using foam adhesives.
  • Added few enamel dots to finish off the cards.
Hope you like it!
Happy Crafting!

Stay Safe, Stay Home, Much Love!!

There’s Always Sunshine : Graciellie Designs

Hello All,

Am here today with yet another Sunflower series card. Yay! Love this Summer Sunflowers Digital set from Graciellie Designs. This time, I have used one of the lovely paper from the co-ordinating digital paper pack called Summer Sunflowers . I absolutely love this duo release!!

  • I took print out of one of the digital paper which has collaged with the Trio Sunflowers and the sentiment.
  • Colored the florals using Cretacolor FineArt Graphite pencils – 4B,8B.
  • Then the colors are slightly smudged using Mont Morte paper stumps.
  • Floral centres are lightly colored using Prisma colored pencil: Cream.
  • Matted this panel to black cs.
  • And then to the cream top fold 5.5″ square card base.
  • To go with the sentiment, kept the florals simple with bright bg paper.
  • Just few grey enamel dots are added as accents.
Hope the sentiment, bg and the florals go together to convey the meaning πŸ™‚
