Perfect poppies are colored using Watercolor pencils and Zig clean color brush pens, fussy cut and mounted on the floral frames diecut which is embossed using Sizzix woodgrain EF.

Pocket Letter Page :)

Hey hi Friends!

Am back with May month CoasteRide Inspiration at ICR .

Such a Beautiful theme and Twist – Pocket Letter Page with Mother’s Day Special as twist.

Basic Researcher in me…Went for a serious search for Pocket Letter infos (PL) and DIYs to make one on my own as i dint own WRMK sleeves or Fuse tool…

JanetteLane is the creator of PLs.Visit the link and you are sure to be amazed by the great details.

I must admit, am hooked after making one PL. So i went ahead and made 3 sleeves and kept ready to fill in and send as RAKs 🙂

Its my ever first try and am way too excited that …its made for Mom and i went ahead to frame and take it to India to gift this to dear Mom 🙂

Storyboard 🙂

This Storyboard is designed by Hostess, Shraddha Patel. Such a wonderful and thoughtful challenge and theme. I enjoyed every bit of making.

I made use of file folder sleeves and went ahead machine sewed and made cute Pockets 🙂

Pattern papers are from Spring liliacs and Vintage florals, my Fave collection of IBS. It has such lovely papers and have been hard time using scissors on them. Been hoarding for 2 years and finally put to good use now 🙂

First row 🙂

Used Itsy Bitsy Glitter Alphas for word MOM and a mulberry flower to adorn the word.
Next pocket, made a pocket and used sponged manilla Tags with words saying “To my mother with love”
For next, framed a lovely verse and adorned with heart pearls, floral ribbon and Prima flower.

Stamped using Wplus9 sentiment on pockets 1 and 3 and adorned with flowers, ribbon.
My fave pic with Mom&Dad on 2014 June on central pocket 🙂

Lovely Mom verses are taken and framed using flowers and ribbon in 1 and 2 pockets.
Last pocket adorns the Prima sentiment with a large butterfly and a satin ribbon flower.

Few more closeups 🙂

One more PL pic with tags out 🙂

I owned a lovely tiny book named MOM and was hoarding for years…This time took those pages and framed few lovely verses here. I dint heavily embellish here, since its gonna be framed. So i kept all flat for easy framing.

Do play along this lovely challenge and stand for the chance to win a beautiful stampset from a new Indian Stamping Company, Mudra 🙂 And happy to mention this being one of Mudra’s Creative Teamie!!

Andddd…

A important thing to be shared here.
