Fall/Autumn/Thanksgiving card

Wanted to share you a card. Followed a sketch and a color scheme from 2 different blogs. And ofcourse a tute too from here🙂

White CS is distressed at edges by crushed olive and on it matted a Kraft CS. Then as per sketch followed the elements to be placed. Punched leaves are stamped with artistic flourish stamp, just to give texture and distressed at edges by frayed burlap. Raffia bow is tied at centre of a wooden button.

Used baby breath punch to make a doily and on it stamped the sentiment and kept on a satin ribbon which flows between the card.

This is my first try at autumn colors. Hope you like it!!!

Supplies:

White CS, Kraft CS, orange rhinestones – Nupur
Baby breath punch – Khusboo Banka
Artistic florish stamp – Jo ann store
Leaf  punch, ribbon, rhinestone, button, Raffia, handmadepaper – Stash
Sentiment – Small fancy lables 18 – Inspired from stamping store

Just for you!

A card with a rare combination. These color combos hasn’t fascinated me until i tend to make this card.
But when things fell in place, i started to like it 🙂

White embossed card is taken and distressed with yellow pigment ink at the corners leaving a central portion. And french pastry doily diecut is taken in halves and placed at top and bottom.

Victorian panel diecut is made from a white crepe paper, added to the centre of card. Sunflower die, olive branches, Small exotic buterflies #1 are from Cherrylynn designs. Few pearls and rhinestones are added. Sentiment is  inspired from stamping store and a portion of victorian panel die is used to cut the sentiment diecut.
Then the whole card is matted on a black handmade paper, which is added to white cs.
Hope you like it!!
