Like most of the world, I have been following Ukraine invasion updates with bewilderment. Totally heartbroken for the Ukranian people, who are affected by this terrible invasion. This wonderful papercraft community showing their support by making handmade cards.

Altenew Craft-A-Flower: Sunburst Azalea Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Am SO excited and happy to be part of Altenew Craft-A-Flower: Sunburst Azalea Release Blog Hop .

I feel so honoured and humbled by this Awesome opportunity.

You should have arrived from Awesome, Rosie’s blog. Else if you are starting from here, I have a full blog hop list at the end of my post.

Made a floral card using this new, Layering Die Set Sunburst Azalea .

Over to my card,

  • Kept the card super simple. Firstly die cut the floral layers from lighter shade to darker shade of cardstocks and arranged as shown using liquid adhesive.
  • Diecut the leaves from a lighter green shade cardstock and ink blended it slightly to get an ombre shade.
  • Then generously splashed white acrylic paint on the florals and leaves and kept for air drying / sped up with heat tool.

  • Took a gray panel little shorter than A2 size and foam mounted the floral and leaves as shown.
  • Tied black beaded ivory shaded twine around the panel and foam mounted this on A2 sized ivory cardbase. 
  • Sentiment is stamped using Altenew Jet black ink from BAF – Giant Bellflower stamp set and die cut it using Featured sentiment die set. 
  • Then the banner is foam mounted onto the twine. Few clear dew drops are added as accents.

This card features Botanical Bookmark Stamp & Die set.

Other products used Featured Sentiments Die set and Altenew cube inks.


This card features Cat Life Stamp and Die Set.

Other Products used: Altenew Frosty pink cube ink, Altenew Jet black cube ink

This card features Rosy blooms Stamp set.

Took the beautiful leaves stamp and stamped over the watercolor panel around the corners on 3 sides and leaving one side to keep the focus on the sentiment.

A simple No line watercoloring and this is my favorite card from the release.

Am a sucker for flowers and Absolutely love Altenew’s varied range of products right from their brand launch. I feel so honoured and humbled by this Awesome opportunity.

I have created a card using Giant Bellflower set.

Build-A-Flower: Giant Bellflower Product Description: 


Let your imagination soar with stunning florals and heartfelt greetings in this unique layering stamp and die set. The florals in this set feature an artistic take on giant bellflowers, showcasing beautiful open petals on a cluster of three flowers. Want to experiment with color? We have added separate coloring layers for each individual flower so you can get creative with colors for your paper crafting projects.


To create my card, I stamped Giant Bellflower onto a white cardstock using a light ink and attempted no line coloring. Die cut with the co ordinating die set after coloring. 



Took a white cardstock and embossed it with Diamond stars 3D Embossing folder . Rounded the embossed panel on all corners and matted over an Olive A2 sized top fold card base using foam adhesives. 


Onto that panel, the diecut flower is added using foam adhesive. The sentiment from same stamp set is stamped using Altenew Jet black cube ink and diecut using Featured Sentiments Die set. This sentiment banner too topped with foam adhesives.

 Hiya Friends,

Am here today with a noline watercolor card using PowerPoppy Irresistible Peonies Digital stamp set .

Over to my card,

  • Printed Power Poppy Irresistible Peonies Digital stamp onto a watercolor cardstock in grayscale mode to attempt Noline watercoloring.
  • Colored using Karin Brush markers.
  • Few polychromos pencils for shadows
  • Splattered left over pink inks and Calligraphy white inks for interest.
  • After drying, diecut using MFT Rec stax dies.
  • Foam mounted this panel over my favorite A2 sized top fold Green cardbase.
  • Few clear droplets are added to finish off the card.

Full Bloom : Altenew Statement Flowers

 Hiya Crafters,

Past 2 months were too busy churning cards for my blog and its just continuing this month too but with a change. Making cards but scheduling for later dates. Yeah, busy making Guest designing projects and so personal projects taking back seat at the moment. Yet squeezed some time today and whipped a card using my new products in my stash – Altenew Woodless Watercolor pencils.

Over to my card,

Colors are inspired from current Altenew Feb challenge

  • Stamped the Altenew Statement flowers stamp set floral onto Canson Montval Watercolor paper in DI Antique Linen for attempting no line coloring.
  • Then colored using Altenew Woodless Watercolor pencils.
  • They are so easy to work with.
  • Then fussy cut and splashed generously with White Calligraphy ink for added interest
  • Took a diecut watercolor panel and with green woodless pencils, made few scribblings  and wet those areas with water liberally to create an organic bg.
  • Air dried and then splashed with left over paints to finish off the bg.
  • Once dried totally, stamped sentiment from Altenew Dahlia blossoms in green ink cube.
  • Foam mounted the panel onto Olive green A2 card base and Fussy cut bloom is foam mounted with few clear dew droplets as accents.

Crafty Friend | Altenew PAF Anemone

 Hi ya All,

Totally Pro’craft’inating!!

Am supposed to finish off few Guest Designing projects yet my mind was experimental and so jumped in to try this new-to-me Medium : Gouache. I have been doing Watercoloring and Pencil coloring for some 4.5 years now in Cardmaking but this medium always intrigued me and so this baby step!

Over to my project,

  • Stamped Altenew PAF Anemone over Strathmore Toned Gray sketch paper with Altenew cube ink – Silver stone and attempted No line coloring.
  • Used Brustro Gouache 24 set colors for coloring medium today.
  • Splashed white calligraphy ink finally.
  • Added few enamel dots in floral color.
  • Matted this focal panel over an off white A2 sized top fold cardbase using double sided adhesive.
  • Sentiment is stamped from Altenew Crafty Friend stampset and die cut using Altenew Featured Sentiments Die set.
  • Sentiments are foam mounted as shown above.

Colours are inspired from current Altenew Challenge

  • Stamped Altenew PAF: Anemone using DI Antique Linen and colored using Brustro Colored pencils.
  • Stamped the sentiment from same stamp set.
  • Splashed generously white calligraphy ink.
  • Notched the edges for an elegant look.
  • Matted over an A2 sized Mehandi green top fold card base using foam adhesives.
