Beautiful Day!

Hi Friends,

Made a floral card using Altenew’s Beautiful day stamp set. This is one of my favorite floral stampset from this brand.

Recently bought Alcohol markers and so my experiments are into it with my ever favorite floral stamps.

Altenew Beautiful day stampset/ Mudra deco foil stencil/Wendy Vecchi Embossing paste/Broken china Distress oxide

  • Stamped the floral spray by masking it with Mudra masking sheet.
  • Stamped it using Alcohol friendly black ink – Memento tuxedo black onto Neenah crest white.
  • Colored using Alcohol markers.
  • Highlighted at few places with white gel pens for interest.
  • Fussy cut the florals.
  • Made a custom texture paste with Embossing paste +Broken china Distress oxide
  • Used Decostencil and partially stenciled an area in the white cs.
  • After letting it to air dry, splashed some black splatters.
  • Added the fussy cut floral spray using foam adhesive over textured base.
  • Took sentiment from same stampset and white heat embossed on black cs.
  • Added that sentiment banner to the focal panel glue runner.
  • Then the focal panel over the A2 sized white card base.

  • Then matted over a white A2 sized card base.
  • Few yellow enamel dots as accents.

Authentic Self: Graciellie Designs

Hey Hi Crafty peeps,

Back again here with a floral card. This time, colored a digital image from Graciellie designs : Authentic. Absolutely love the florals, leaves and the sentiments in this stamp. Each sentiment style refers different mood.

It’s my first time, using alcohol markers other than Chameleon pens.

  • Printed digital stamps in the Neenah solar crest white cs.
  • Colored using my new Alcohol markers. Yay! that’s my recent gift of 80 markers.
  • Using three color combos of light, medium, dark, colored the florals and leaves.
  • Added few white gel pen dots to the leaves and floral stamens.
  • Yet to learn loads as this is entirely different from pencil coloring and watercoloring which am used to!
  • Colored using cool grey on the outline of the floral spray.
  • Then fussy cut the florals and foam mounted onto a geometric patterned sheet (actually its a packaging sheet of a recent purchase)
  • Foam mounted the sentiment banner onto the florals.
  • Added this panel to the white top fold A2 sized cardstock.
  • Few purple sequins are added as accents.
Hope you like this card.

Be sure to check Graciellie shop to grab your favorites.

Hi Friends,

Made a CAS card today using Graciellie Designs Floral Heart & banners digital set. It’s a love at first sight.

  • Printed this gorgeous digi with sentiment onto a watercolor cardstock.
  • Watercolored using Zig clean color brush markers.
  • Shadows and highlights using Prima colored pencils.
  • To create further interest added white gel pen wherever needed.

Happy Birthday Card: Pencil colored Dahlia

Hi Friends!

Wishing a very Happiest Birthday to the ones, who share this date with me 🙂

A special birthday wishes to Jasnoor Kaur, my dear crafty friend Jasleen’s little princess and also to my sub-junior friend! Am so lucky to know these souls and its always absolute joy in wishing them “Happy Birthday” on my birthday 🙂 I especially make cards to fill my blog space with birthday note!

And for today,

Made a card using PowerPoppy Dahlia digital stamp. As always, am one big fan of Marcella’s artistic illustrations. Her digis + pencil coloring is my fave go to!

  • Pencil colored this power poppy digi by printing it onto a white cs.
  • After coloring, fussy cut and colored its white edges using Black soot distress marker.
  • The bg is made using Yupo translucent sheet + 3 shades of Alcohol inks – Mermaid, Citrus, Lemonade.
  • The sentiment is directly printed onto vellum and diecut using stitched rectangle dies.
  • Yupo paper is also diecut using same stitched rectangle dies.
  • Its then matted onto white A2 top fold card.
  • The vellum focal panel is topped over the yupo paper in such a way that the organic design of alcohol inks were showing up around the focal image.
  • Few clear dew droplets added as finishing touches.
Hope you like it!
