The Flower Challenge#90 | Add Layers | Reminder | Altenew

Hi Friends.

Am here back again to share a floral card for The Flower Challenge blog with the theme ‘Add Layers’

So this time, you have to add layers and the main focus needs to be florals as always.

Over to my card,

  • Took a 4X5.25″ card panel from Altenew’s poured acrylic pp pack.
  • Dry embossed it with Altenew Motif Tile 3D embossing folder.
  • The dry embossing shows the white core of the pattern paper at many places, which actually adds up to the elegance of the card here.
  • Then I diecut few floral sprigs and leaves from Altenew Itty Bitty Branches die set using from same pp pack.
  • These are arranged over a rectangular frame, which was die cut from Altenew’s rounded rectangles die set.
  • Altenew Fancy Hello Die set word die from white cardstocks are added above as in pic.
  • Then finally all mounted onto an off white A2 sized top fold card base.

Hope you like this simple card.

The Flower Challenge #89 | Square Inkblended Card | Reminder | Dry Embossing

Hi Friends,

Welcome back to new post for the midway point in the current challenge of The Flower Challenge . The theme is Make a Square card and for the theme I have done an inkblended focal piece and added few diecut hearts and an tiny acrylic heart for an added interest with a sentiment sticker.

Over to my card,

  • Took a 4×4″ white notecard as cardbase.
  • Took a 3 3/4″ white focal panel (Neenah white crest) and inkbended using DO – Worn lipstick and Squeezed lemonade.
  • Then when its air dried, dry embossed using SSSKIt-3D botanicals Timholtz Embossing folder for the gorgeous pattern.
  • Added Crafters companion heart dies for the diecuts using patterned paper and a small acrylic heart for an added interest with Timholtz small talk sentiment sticker is added on top as above.
  • The mattings are added to the top fold cardbase to finish off the card.

Hope you like this sweet simple card.
