Artistry by Altenew Watercolor Tubes Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hi from Chennai, India.

Greetings!

I am SO honoured and humbled to be part of this Artists’ Watercolor Tubes Blog Hop at Altenew. Always love Altenew’s pretty and unique designs of floral stamps and their various colouring medium has increased my colouring ability. This new launch by Artistry by Altenew is no exception. I prefer to use tubes of liquid paint rather than dried palettes. And this is my preferred way of using and find it much easier to mix colours when used this way. The limited palette is a great starting point and provide you endless colour options you can create on your own. Love the beautiful vibrancy of these colours. Thanks so much Artistry by Altenew for this Awesome Opportunity.

You have arrived from talented Svitlana Shayevich ‘s blog. I have a complete blog hop list at the end, so don’t miss to check all the wonderful projects at each stop.

AA Fine Watercolor Brushes

Stamped the image onto a cold pressed watercolor paper using Limestone Crisp dye ink and did noline watercoloring. Then the focal panel is trimmed. It’s then generously splashed with white paint. Sentiment is stamped and then mounted on to the Violet A2 sized card base whose 2 corners are notched as shown to add interest. Watercolored diecut letters are added with few enamel dots as accents.

Loose Watercolor Florals

Attempted few loose watercolor florals and clubbed them with beautiful and inspirational sentiments from Altenew. Then trimmed and notched those watercolor panels and matted them with matching A2 cardbases to create these super simple quick cards.

  4. Hi Sathyakala. Wow you have made so many beautiful cards for this hop! Thank you for showing that the Limestone Crisp Dye ink can be used for no line coloring. It really does the trick. You watercolor so beautifully and I love the variety of all your cards. My favorite it the “UR Fabulous” card. I love blue and and reddish purple colors together.
