Rainbow Card

A quick card from me again. This time its a rainbow colored card.

Border stamp which i have been hoarding for a long time has been put to use at last. Made this background by stamping in series. Then i masked every portion carefully and distressed using the rainbow colors. Both distress inks and chalks are put to use here. Diecut doily is distressed at edges and added on centre of card with a punched multicolor monarch butterfly around which few pearls are embellished.  Wrapped a brown raffia around the bottom of cardfront and on it added the sentiment banner with two tiny brads. Then mounted this to the white cardbase.

Few other shots 🙂

Need a lot of practice in stamping and distressing…Hope you all like my amateurish attempts 🙂

  1. Very beautiful! Lovely take on the rainbow colours. Love the butterfly the most, this looks more beautiful than the real butterfly :). All the best for the challenges.
