It’s time for the reminder card at The Flower Challenge blog with the theme ‘Use Gold’. Made a card with floral noline copic coloring with few diecuts to jazz up the card. And for the gold part, I had used gold mirror cardstock and you can use gold embossing powder, gold glitter pen, gold stickles or anything that fancies you with florals as main focus.
Over to my card,
For today’s card, I had taken Stampendous Cling Christmas roses stamp set.
Did No line coloring using Copic ciao alcohol markers.
Fussy cut the image and liberally splashed it with white gouache for the wintery floral look.
Die cut Spellbinders Petite twisted oval from a patterned paper and onto it mounted an ornate diecut of Spellbinders using Gold mirror cardstock + White cardstock.
The focal panel and the florals are arranged as shown in pic over the Olive green A2 sized top fold cardbase which was notched at top corners.
SSS Holiday words on line – Joyful wishes Die (twice cut from white cardstock) is added on top of flowers for sentiment.
No embellishments added so as to keep the focus on the florals.

Am sharing today the card made for the current challenge at The Flower Challenge. This time theme is ‘Use Gold’ and as always florals are to be in focus. You can use Gold heat embossing, Gold diecuts, Gold glitter cardstocks, Gold glitter washitapes or even Gold mirror cardstock just like me for diecuts.

This time thought to play with just diecuts. Actually a recreation of my earlier card with a bit of new additions. December is such a merry season and I would love to play with my christmas stamps, dies, white sparkly embossing powders only during that time of the year.
Made this lovely holiday card using dies from Spellbinders-Amazing paper grace Petite Lacy dies and Twisted Oval Elegant dies.
Florals aren’t colored this time rather added Fussy cut white florals from Embellishment sheets. This season called for some white florals.
Sentiment is added to the inner oval diecut.
Few pearls, enamel dots are added as accents.

Sharing today reminder card for the current challenge at The Flower challenge blog. As always florals are the focus with this month’s theme – Yellow, white and black colours.
Over to my card,
Took a Neenah solar white crest cardstock and sponged with Yellow dye ink from Mudra on both ends of the card as shown.
Then stamped the floral branch from Altenew BAG- Magnificent branch stamp set with sentiments from the same stamp set.
The panel then diecut using Gina Marie’s scalloped die set.
Then its matted over A2 sized black cardbase using foam adhesives.

Stamped Altenew- Bountiful Bouquet stamp in Versafine Black ink.
Colored in different yellow Copic markers for the petals and shades of grey and black for the leaves.
Topped the diecut colored image onto a white panel and then to a black panel and trimmed it.
Then matted the panel over a yellow colored A2 sized card base.
Sentiment is from the Altenew Sentiment strips 2.

Stamped the images onto the watercolor cardtsock using Antique Linen DI to attempt the no line watercoloring.
Used Karin brush markers for the coloring.
Then diecut the watercolored panel using MFT stitched rectangle die set.
Stamped a sentiment in jet black ink from the same stamp set.
Foam mounted the watercolored panel on to an olive A2 sized top fold cardbase.
Few clear dew drops are added as accents.

Took a gold foiled patterned paper and trimmed to fit in a A2 sized cardbase.
Then partially colored the patterned paper using Green copic markers.
Matted over the Olive A2 sized top fold cardbase.
The sentiment from Altenew- Sentiment strips 2 is fold embossed on an olive cardstock and die cut using Altenew Featured Sentiments Die set.
Mounted the sentiment die cut on focal panel with foam adhesive.

I am SO honoured and humbled to be part of this Artists’ Watercolor Tubes Blog Hop at Altenew. Always love Altenew’s pretty and unique designs of floral stamps and their various colouring medium has increased my colouring ability. This new launch by Artistry by Altenew is no exception. I prefer to use tubes of liquid paint rather than dried palettes. And this is my preferred way of using and find it much easier to mix colours when used this way. The limited palette is a great starting point and provide you endless colour options you can create on your own. Love the beautiful vibrancy of these colours. Stamped the image onto a Cold pressed Watercolor paper using Limestone Crisp Dye ink and did noline watercoloring here. After colouring, generously splashed with white paint to achieve this look. The corners of the focal panel is notched to add interest. Added scripty diecut as focus with the stamped sub sentiment.

Loose Watercolor Florals
Attempted few loose watercolor florals and clubbed them with beautiful and inspirational sentiments from Altenew. Then trimmed and notched those watercolor panels and matted them with matching A2 cardbases to create these super simple quick cards.

Stamped the Stampendous cosmos spray onto a Strathmore Toned gray sketch paper using Altenew Limestone ink.
Die cut it with stitched rectangle die.
Coloured using Copics and Coloured pencils.
Sponged a corner with Peeled paint Distress ink for interest.
Then stamped a sentiment from Kaisercraft.
Splattered generously with white gouache masking certain portions of spray and sentiment.
Foam mounted the focal panel after air dry over a light pink A2 sized top fold card base.

Took Altenew Sylvan Baroque Embossing folder and dry embossed a scalloped die cut piece of Neenah Solar crest cardstock.
Did alcohol colouring of the dry embossed cardstock using Copics.
Sentiment from Altenew Belladonna Lily stamp set is stamped as shown.
Foam mounted the coloured panel over a mauve A2 sized top fold cardstock.
Few clear dew droplets are added as accents.
